| ABIGAIL |

|
| My little girl |
Abigail came to me through a friends daughter. She was about to be taken to the pound when Jen stepped
in and told her she would find a home for her. Jen called me about a rescue group but asked that I come over to see
her because she just didn't look good. When I arrived, I saw this very small framed pug who looked like she just had
had a litter. That face just melted my heart so I told her I would take her. Got her into the vet only to find
out that she had "pyometra", which is an infection of the uterus. Surgery had to be performed right away so
she wouldn't die. She came through the surgery but we found other things wrong. Last month, she had to have another
surgery because of a blockage between her stomach and her intestines. Thank goodness there was no cancer however we
did also find that her heart is not located in the right place and that her back legs have very little sockets.
Abigail is the perfect example of poor breeding though puppy mills. She has the heart and the personality that words
just can't describe. She makes me laugh all day long.
| Odie |

|
| My little junkyard man |
This little man was an owner turn in after 10 years - because they were moving! These are the things
I just can't understand. When I got Odie he was not sure what was going on. He thought HE had done something wrong.
He was scared, shy, needed dental work, had long nails that had all grown sideways. He has spinal issues and like Abigail,
has worn back leg sockets that prevent him from jumping. It takes him a long time to even be able to sit or lay down.
He has been awarded the "couch" - which he loves soooo much. It's soft and it makes it easier for him to lay down.
He loves meal times and grunts and growls until his bowl is put down.
IT IS WITH GREAT SORROW TO SAY THAT ODIE, VERY UNEXPECTEDLY, PASSED AWAY ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18,2008.
I know he is running around, free of pain, and will be watching over me until we meet again.

| My Big Bear - Molly |
This is my precious MOLLY. She is 11 years old and she came to me after her parents gave her up when
she was 10. She was up at Best Friends Sanctuary in Utah and was brought down here to find her forever home. She
was scared, not very trusting and has very bad hips. You should see her now!!! She plays ball, runs, jumps (usually
knocks into a Pug or two) and is becoming more trusting of people everyday. She is a great protector of her
mom - I love it!!!

| The "Character" of Them All |
This is Otis Archibald. He came to me 3 years ago from Az. Pug Rescue - I was his foster mom.
His parents decided to divorce and neither one wanted him. He was 10 years old at the time and lived in a small crate
while they travelled in an RV year round. He is totally blind in one eye and his other eye is starting to go also.
He is just a joy to be around - what a personality he has - and he has the biggest mouth of them all !!!!

| My Oldest - Miss Dolly |
This is Ms. Dolly - my oldest. She is now 17 years old but still thinks she is 3. She is the leader
of the pack (with the exception of Sophie) and makes sure everyone is doing what they are suppose to be doing.
I have had her since she was 7 weeks old and she has been there to help me with all the newcomers and fosters we have helped.
